IMFL: The Executive Summary


It is going to take a while for me to sort out my thoughts to give the race report the gravitas it deserves around my Ironman Florida experience but in summary:

Swim: 1:25:59

T1: 16:20

Bike: 7:14:15

T2: 10:53

Run: 7:33:45

Total: 16:41:47

Yes, I am an Ironman.

I will say, WTC tracking SUCKS!!! You were on my list of people to track, I refreshed it 100x's from 11p to 12:15am and had you with one run split left. Inside I knew you made it. Just had to wait to the next morning to see it.

I was looking for you out on the course but didn't see you anywhere! Most of our times were pretty close but I beat you on the run by about 3 hours. Looks like your run/walk method worked! I finally got my race report up this morning.

Congratulations man, it was great getting to meet you and hang out some. I'm looking forward to doing that again!
